keeping it real
as a wedding photographer on your day..
My approach on your wedding day is to capture the genuine and heartfelt story of your day. I focus on the moments, emotions, and real expressions that reflect the true vibe of your day. From the joyful tears and toddler tantrums to the smiles and, most importantly, the laughter, I’ll document it all. I’ll also pay attention to the beautiful details that make your wedding uniquely yours, ensuring that every aspect is remembered for years to come..

Love in All its forms
.Not all signs of affection have to be the smoochy, lovey-dovey kind. For some, love is expressed through a shared look, a hearty laugh, or a quiet connection. I truly enjoy observing and capturing the unique individuality of each couple's relationship. Most importantly, I want you to be yourselves—authentic and genuine. That’s when the magic happens!
Fay and Karl - 2025
Hayley captured the most beautiful candid shots, exactly what we were hoping for, and her relaxed approach made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. We couldn’t be happier with the photos and would recommend Hayley to anyone looking for natural, genuine photography that truly captures the spirit of the day.

Heck yes! My style is designed for you. Most couples on my website told me those exact words. I am an "unposed" photographer; even for portraits, a simple stroll around the venue is all that’s needed

In 20 years and 350+ weddings, I’ve seen every kind of weather Britain can throw at me. I actually love a rainy wedding! Having captured stories at almost every barn venue Sussex has to offer—including Upwaltham Barns, Fitzleroi, and Hendall Manor—I am an expert at finding beautiful indoor light and weatherproof "pockets" of the venue.

For full-day coverage, I typically deliver 500+ high-resolution images via a beautiful online gallery. For smaller celebrations, it usually works out to approximately 50 images per hour—so a 2-hour intimate wedding would receive around 100+ photos.

My Photography Journey
I embarked on my photography journey over 20 years ago, falling in love with the art of capturing fleeting moments in time. Starting with my beloved film camera, I learned the true craft of photography—developing my own film in the darkroom and capturing images on slides.
Initially, my passion lay in landscapes and nature photography. I adored using Fuji Velvia for its rich, vibrant greens and Ilford HP5 for its striking contrast and grain. Those qualities still inspire me today.
A few years after diving into photography as a hobby, a friend asked me to capture their wedding. One wedding led to another, and before I knew it, I was falling in love with the idea of turning my passion into a career as a wedding photographer.
Over the past 17+ years in the wedding photography world, I’ve honed my experience and developed my style. I focus on creating photographs that are true and honest to each moment. While I no longer shoot in film—couldn’t imagine capturing an entire wedding that way!—I still embrace that film-inspired aesthetic in my work, editing to replicate the bold, vibrant greens and emotional depth that first captivated me.
