Approach to Capture your day
After many years in the business I am a dab hand at blending seamlessly into the background of your day. I will capture beautiful, funny, emotional storytelling images to create an authentic, modern visual narrative to last a lifetime.
The Experience
"With nearly 2 decades (crazy huh!) of weddings under my belt I bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, fun, creativity and just a whole vibe of calmness in reassurring you everything will be just fine and you WILL have the most amazing day. I will be there to capture your joy, laughter, tears and above all the huge amount of love that brought you to where are now.
The End result
The authentic story of your day captured and crafted into a beautiful online gallery / album, that you can look back on, share, download, print and reminisce over what will become one of the best days of your life.
My wealth of experience will help you relax and be you. I'm here to capture and show the very best versions of yourselves.
Wedding Snapshots
Heck! It’s not every day you get married or hire a wedding photographer, so heres a snapshot breakdown in the life of what I, as your wedding photographer can capture. You may not be after a full day, so you can use this as a guide to what parts are important to you to have captured.
1 - Wedding Morning
2 Hours is the perfect amount of time capturing a wedding morning, I love morning prep, its a great chance for me to get to know the wedding squads ahead of the day and get a real feel for the vibes ahead.
2 - Ceremony
30 mins - 1 hour depending on if you’re having a civil wedding or church service. I always aim to be at the ceremony location 30 minutes prior, to capture all the lovely friends and family arriving.
3 - Confetti - Go Big!
5 - 10 minutes - Go big, like really big, as big as you can. You can honestly never have too much confetti! One of my favourite moments to capture.
4 - Reception - Group Photo’s
20 - 30 minutes. I usually suggest no more than 6 - 8 group shots. Keep the formal ones intimate. Immediate family, parents, siblings, G-parents and your main wedding squad.
5 - Reception - Candids
30 minutes - After couple, group shots and detail bits I usually have around half hour spare to capture a fab selection of natural, candid guest shots.
6 - Happy couple time
10 - 15 minutes is all it takes for a fab selection of epic couple shots. I’m not a photographer that will take you away for hours on end. A few select locations which can even be split over to different times of the day, especially UK summer sunset weddings. Be prepared for me to geek out and holler at any part of the day about a nice bit of light!
7 - Wedding Breakfast & Speeches
30 mins - I dont capture your people eating, and shall only be in the room for initial seating and speeches, which can last anything from 5 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how chatty your people are!
8 - Cake Cut & First Dance
5 - 10 minutes - A quick cake cut which usually leads straight in to the first dance, which if like most of my couples you’re not natural ballroom dancers then one verse and chorus of the song is perfect before hollering your guests to join you.
9 - Drunken Dance Floor antics
30 minutes - I hang around on a full day wedding for around 30 minutes after the first dance to grab lots of drunken (hopefully) dance floor antics.
