2019 Weddings - A year in review

2019 wedding venues..

Well I returned to many of my favourite venues including, Hendall Manor Barns, Long Furlong barn, Fitzleroi Barn and Grittenham Barn.

I also added some new venues to my list this year including, Bailiffscourt, Barnett hill and Oak tree meadow, but among my favourites this year are the few weddings I captured at peoples home gardens. Maybe these are my high on my list because thats exactly the wedding I had so it feels a little bit like stepping back in time to 11 years ago when I myself got married in my parents garden. :)

My highlights

A tough one, too many to mention, but the first thing that springs to mind is capturing the wedding at Fitzleroi with the bride and grooms dog Missy as ring bearer and watching her charge down the aisle to see “mum and dad”. I also loved being at the fabulous Oak tree meadows, with what had to be the hottest weather I have ever endured at a wedding, still a whopping 32 degrees at 9pm! But a highlight had to be being hoisted up on a crane attached to a tractor to capture the large group shot with the giant hat tipi tents in the background and the amazing scenery.

What made me laugh out loud?

Unruly kids!! You gotta love em! Donkeys at Grittenham barn eating a guests scarf and of course speeches, speeches and more speeches. You know it’s a great speech when a total outsider (aka, me) finds it laugh out loud funny. You also can’t forget all the drunken dad dancing and the brilliant drag queen dj’s who rocked the show at Pangdean barn.

What my 2019 couples had to say..

“The photos are stunning, and she made us feel very relaxed on the day and it just felt like she was one of the wedding party”

“Hayley did an amazing job photographing our wedding this year, Hayley struck a perfect balance on the day between giving us time to do our thing, and sneaking us away for photo opportunities. Will definitely recommend her to others. Thank you so much Hayley!”

“Love them all, you really captured everything I hoped for and more.”

”We love the photos so much, such a great reminder of fabulous day.”

Looking to 2020 and beyond...

2020 is looking to be my busiest year to date and I cannot wait. I’m pretty much fully booked up to October and have some amazing weddings and new venues to boot! Im even capturing my first London wedding, which is going to be incredible! If you’re still looking for a wedding for 2020 then do get in touch, also now taking bookings for 2021 and 2022!!

Congratulations..

Congratulations to all my gorgeous couples who tied the knot this year and allowed me the greatest pleasure of capturing their day and telling their own wedding story, and to all my 2020 couples, the countdown is on….Eeeek!
