Hannah and Luke's garden tipi wedding
I am so lucky in my job that I get to meet so many wonderful people and Hannah and Luke were just one of them couples.
They tied the knot at Saint Nicolas Church in Boughton Malherbe Maidstone followed by a Tipi wedding at Luke parents house in Brede East Sussex
With Hannah getting ready at her and Luke’s house and Luke getting ready just around the corner at his grandparents house I was able to capture a little bit of both of them getting ready. I absolutely loved the relationship that Luke has with his grandparents, it was very endearing to watch and so lovely that, Derek, Luke’s grandad was also his best man.
When I met with Hannah and Luke preceding the wedding with a pre-wedding meeting, they had a conflict of interest around whether or not they should have confetti. Luke, shocked by the cost of a few dried out petals, didn’t see the point, but of course Hannah, as the bride went ahead and ordered them anyway. Good girl! hehe! So I was absolutely chuffed when it came to confetti time that Luke, by far had the best fun, just check out the photos!
With the church set within such a beautiful picturesque village, we had decided that we would hang back after the ceremony to wander around and grab some bride and groom shots. With such gorgeous scenery it would’ve been rude not to!
Back at the reception venue, at Luke’s parents house it was super chilled out. A gorgeous single tipi tent was all set up and ready for the guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast. So following the the usual formal shots it was time for everyone to be seated and enjoy the evening celebrations.
