A Lakeside Tipi Tent Wedding at Four Oaks Farm
Another gorgeous Four oaks farm wedding under my belt and this one like the others I’ve shot at this venue was a scorcher “hottest day of the year type thing”. Adam and Helen had already legally tied the knot back in April so this was a super informal blessing / renewal of vowels. With Adam brother told at the last minute he would be conducting and what a fab job he did. With a grand 3 peak tipi tent set in the field by the lake Helen and Adam hosted a Wedfest vibe wedding, super chilled and relaxed for the entire day.
Garlic wood events created a Glorious feast with shared mezze boards for starter and a meat feast for mains. Following the speeches the evening fun continued with the brides dad accompanying the band for a little drum solo to rapturous applause.
As the day was so so hot and the sun super high in the sky I opted to wait for bride and groom photo’s until later in the evening when the light would be much kinder. I hadn’t however realised just how much of the free flowing booze the groom, Adam, had consumed. This led to quite possibly the most hillarious attempt at Bride and Groom portrait photos I have ever encountered. With Adam a little wobbly and unable to find his shoes we ventured for a little walk nonetheless, taking with us a groomsmen to assist with any propping up that may be required along the way. I have never laughed so much reliving this moment whilst editing the photos and I thank Adam and Helen for being such good sports and Helen in particular for wanting to make sure I include every incriminating photo of her new husband as possible.
A fabulous day with a super chilled gorgeous couple. Lots of laughs were had. Thanks for having me guys. Xx
