Juliette and Chris' summer Bailiffscourt wedding

bailiffscourt climping beach wedding photography

Back at the beginning of June I had the absolute pleasure of capturing my cousins wedding at Bailiffscourt in Climping, Sussex. It was my first time at Bailiffscourt and I absolutely loved every single thing about it. A romantic mediaeval style house set in 30 acres of park with the benefit of being just a short stroll to Climping Beach. Perfection! Both Juliette and Chris were getting ready at Bailiffs so I was able to jump between the two of them getting ready as well as catching the guests arriving, most of which were known family members. I don’t actually know what’s easier, capturing complete strangers or people you know!

The ceremony, held in the music room was most definitely a family affair, with Juliette and Chris’s youngest son making sure he wasn’t missing out on any action by being with mum and dad, either in arms or between legs or under tables for the duration. I’m sure Juliette and Chris wouldn’t have had it any other way.

With it being a gorgeous sunny day, following the ceremony all the guest got to enjoy drinks in the gardens and for a few, trips to the beach also. Myself, Juliette and Chris also took the opportunity to leave everyone behind (including the kids!) and took a short stroll to a secluded section of beach for a few portrait shots. We did of course have lots of fun on our return trying to capture the “family shot” with Juliette and Chris and their four boys all together on the outside steps which as you will see by the photos took a few takes and a lot of persuasion for the little ones!

A gorgeous wedding that was an absolute honour to capture. Thanks Jules and Chris. xx
