A super colourful Yoghurt Rooms Wedding
The Yoghurt rooms has to be one of my favourite wedding venues to work at. A stunning oak frame barn to make your own, perfect for a DIY wedding. Lots of accommodation for you and your nearest and dearest to enjoy the venue and surroundings for a whole weekend of fun and views and scenery to create the most amazing backdrop to your wedding photographs. Becca and Jack held their wedding at the Yoghurt rooms in August 2021, just as all restrictions on weddings had finally been relaxed. With over 100 guests joining them for their day I knew it was going to be an absolute blast from beginning to end. Becca and Jack transformed the barn into what can only be described as a Mexican street festival wedding! Bright colourful handmade paper bunting and colourful rings of hanging ribbon adorned the ceilings, beams and walls. The long tables were filled with 100 multicoloured jars of flowers, supplied by Pitfield Barn flowers and brightly coloured candles. Becca had chosen some of the most amazing florals for her wedding too, all created by the super talented Arabella Floral. The most amazing bouquet and flower crown with 2 enormous floral pillars to frame the outside bandstand. I was in my absolute element capturing all the details that had gone in to create this amazing space. Continuing with the Mexican theme their wedding breakfast was of course Mexican. With tacos and enchiladas to feast on all lovingly created by the awesome Taco punks.
I had the pleasure of being with Becca and Jack for a full day's wedding photography, joining them and their families first thing in the morning all the way through to capturing the drunken dance floor antics at the end of the evening. It is such an honour to spend the entire day as an outsider at someone's wedding and so great, when after hours of editing you can share and allow them to relive the entire day again.
