Anna + James' Arundel town hall wedding
I photographed the most amazing wedding back in the summer of 2017 and it has long since been held in my heart as a wedding that I will always look back on as being one of my absolute faves. Anna and James’s pretty Arundel village hall wedding.
Anna and James held their wedding ceremony at Arundel Town Hall. This was my first time photographing a wedding here and I very much hope it won’t be my last. As registry office weddings go, this one surely has to be the best. A stunning grade 2 listed victorian building set in the centre of the beautiful town of Arundel, with a fabulously large outdoor terrace off of the ceremony room, with far reaching views across the sussex countryside. Oh and not forgetting views of Arundel Castle too! What a backdrop!!
Following the ceremony and drinks reception on the terrace, the couple had the most fantastic send off, with all their guests looking down from the balcony and cheering them as they drove off on their way to their reception venue. Burpham Village Hall.
Burpham is just one of those stunning quintessentially English villages, with small lanes, pretty cottages, countryside views and a pub and a village hall at the heart of it. Perfection and the most idyllic setting for a wedding
Having left with Anna and James from their ceremony to get a head start on their guests leaving, we used this time to go for a stroll through the village to capture some Bride and Groom portrait shots and they completely nailed it! Its always such a privilege to spend this time with a Bride and Groom and a time that I always stress the importance of to new prospective couples.
The Wedding reception was super laid back, with all the guests being able to enjoy a perfect summers day, mingling outside the Village Hall and making the most out of the large open green area, where the kids could run around, the adults could play games and we had plenty of space and the perfect backdrop for the family and friends group shots.
