Emily and Toby's Hendall Manor Barns Micro wedding
What do you do when you have to change your wedding guest numbers from 80 to 15? Well you go ahead and get married and have the most beautiful intimate wedding. That's exactly what Emily and Toby did. Faced with the ever changing rules surrounding weddings in 2020, Emily and Toby dealt with changes of wedding dates to then restriction in numbers, twice, with guest numbers diminishing to just 15 only days before their wedding day.
They were determined to get married though and I for one am super chuffed they did! It truly was the most beautiful day. A gorgeous autumnal October day at the wonderful Hendall Manor Barns in Uckfield.
Emily wore a stunning 2 piece dress and Toby a fabulous green tweed jacket and waistcoat. With a love of London and London craft beers, Emily and Toby’s table centre pieces and toast drinks were each of their favourite beers, such a great unique idea.
Having shot a few smaller micro weddings this year I have actually become quite the fan. It has been lovely to be able to take time to capture each of the guests and couples individually and have plenty of time to spend with the couple for their portrait photos. It has been lovely to return to venues where I am used to 80+ guests to see different, creative table and ceremony layouts that a smaller number of guests allow.
