Issy and James - Lewes Registry office wedding

Issy and James part 2 - The one where they tied the knot! A follow up to part one - The one where they got engaged. And prelude to part 3 - Wedfest extravaganza

So in the installment I will tell you all about the “legal wedding” bit. Held just 3 days before the wedding party celebrations - known as wedfest!

Issy and James tied the knot at the gorgeous Southover Grange. Also known as Lewes registry office, and a very lovely one. One of my favourites in Sussex. I was booked to cover just a couple of hours to capture the arrival of the guests, the actual ceremony and a bit of time in Southover Grange gardens to capture some formal shots and of course lots of candid moments.

Issy and Jame’s ceremony was very them, and great fun to watch and capture. These guys completely stole my heart. With a whoop whoop from Issy as her dad walked her down the aisle to the hilarious and very true personal vows, to then be finished off with a well practised handshake routine (and kiss) Brilliant!!

Following the ceremony we headed to the gardens for a mini confetti line and some group shots with some time at the end for a wander around the garden with Issy and James for a few couple shots. All that was left was to capture Issy and James driving off in his beloved car.
