Pretty village hall weddings in Sussex

2017 saw me photograph more village hall weddings than ever before, and each and every one of them completely stole my heart. So if you’re thinking of having a pretty village hall wedding in Sussex or beyond do keep reading and check out some images from recent weddings I have captured.

There are so many fabulous Village halls in the sussex area that are a fabulous choice for weddings. These venues have so much room for creativity and create the perfect space for those wishing to have a complete DIY wedding, or to have a venue stylist come in and work their magic! Most of the time they are situated in beautiful locations, in small quintessential English villages with amazing backdrops, either right there or just a short walk away.

Burpham Village hall was one such venue, set among a huge playing field with far reaching views of the sussex countryside, perfect for capturing relaxed wedding guest shots and for all the guests to enjoy games on the lawn and for the kids to run wild! With just a short stroll into the village of Burpham where there is not only a gorgeous Church but also long winding lanes to capture some beautiful shots of the bride and groom on their own.

Iford Hall in Lewes was another village hall I photographed at last year and whilst the hall itself is relatively small it has the perfect space outside for a marquee for the larger wedding, allowing the hall itself to be used for the evening entertainment, with a stage as a perfect setting for a wedding band. Near to and surrounding the hall is again beautiful sussex countryside and farmland, with cornfields and hay bales for the more alternative style of wedding photography.

Other village halls with great locations include, Copsale Hall, Loxwood Hall, High Hurstwood village hall and lodsworth village hall.
