Buxted Park wedding - Sarah and Martin
In May this year I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the wedding of Sarah and Martin at the utterly gorgeous Buxted Park in Sussex. Buxted Park, a stunning, elegant mansion house set in rural sussex, the perfect setting for anyone looking for the ultimate in romantic wedding venues.
Sarah and Martin had booked me, making great use of my new hourly coverage charge for my wedding photography, deciding they only needed a photographer for 6 hours, with coverage from the last bits of bridal prep all the way through until the start of the wedding breakfast. A great amount of coverage giving them just enough to tell the amazing story of their day.
I arrived at Buxted just as Sarah was having the last touches of her make up done, whilst the super lovely Becky from Beckies bridal hair was finishing off the last of the bridesmaids hair. I absolute love capturing bridal prep at Buxted Park as the bridal suite is so gorgeous and oh so spacious!
With the weather gloriously warm and sunny, I had the chance to capture my first outdoor ceremony at Buxted and I loved every minute.
Sarah and Martin were an absolute dream to work with and happily spent time with me walking around the amazing garden to capture some fabulous bride and groom portrait shots.
As they were only having me photograph up until the start of the wedding breakfast I ensured I allowed plenty of time to capture the beautiful wedding breakfast room. Set up the Orangery with centre pieces and table numbers made of different herbs. They also had the most ingenious idea for their wedding favours, personalised top trumps of their guests! Awesome!
